Description
This is a painting of a garden in my mind ... a garden of love, of peace, of kindness ... It is twilight, the light and shadows are soft, the milky way and Ursa Major shine. This painting hangs on the wall beside my bed - it is the first sight I see in the morning and the last sight I see at night. In the garden of peace and all that is good - friendship, love, protection and good fortune - even death, part of life, is seen. The four pictorial radicals of the written Chinese word for "happiness, good fortune" 福 are the picture symbols for: one, person, garden and Shang Ti and literally define happiness as "one person in the garden with the heavenly ruler."
